Blue Filter began by helping farmers clean their water with nothing but plants. Today that same technology keeps families alive across Gaza.
In crisis, water is life. Gaza needs it now.

Blue Filter is an innovative environmental and humanitarian initiative addressing water scarcity, agricultural sustainability, and crisis response. The organization evolved from supporting farmers with eco-friendly filtration to leading emergency interventions in Gaza since October 2024, using plant-based purification methods that require no electricity or chemicals.
Blue Filter aims to scale its impact by combining environmental innovation with humanitarian action, ensuring sustainable access to water, education, and resilience for vulnerable communities worldwide.
Years of work, counted in farms reached, people trained, and families who now have water they can trust.
Four connected areas of work, from sustainable water to frontline humanitarian response.
Plant-based purification for households, farms, and emergencies, with no electricity or chemicals required.
Clean irrigation water and sustainability training that helped thousands of farmers protect their land and crops.
Education on water purification and sustainable practices, with more than 30,000 people trained.
Daily water distribution, food, medical supplies, and rapid field response across Gaza since October 2024.
One mission, carried from peacetime farming into the heart of an emergency.
Blue Filter started as an environmental initiative, equipping farmers with eco-friendly, plant-based filtration to treat polluted groundwater and protect their crops.
As the crisis deepened, Blue Filter shifted to frontline relief, delivering clean drinking water, food, and medical supplies to displaced families every day.
Alongside water, we are rebuilding education. Equipped tents give displaced children a safe space to keep studying through the crisis.

Blue Filter is led by the engineer who built its first filter.
A world where clean water is a basic right, not a privilege.
